I was reading a short article in Science of Mind magazine (great magazine!) about the Law of Circulation.

The Law of Circulation states that all things in the universe are always flowing in circulation at an ever expanding rate. What you give to one person, you will receive back from a different source, so you don’t have to give with the expectation of receiving back from the same person you give to.  Just know that what you give will always be returned to you multiplied from other sources. It works according to the law of cause and effect where the universe always mirrors back to you whatever you do.

AS I WAS READING this I thought about all the coins I have sitting around in jars that are just sitting there – stagnant – unless I DO something with the coins.

Recently I was rolling some coins and while I was "moving" that money around, my phone kept ringing with people wanting to join my business and GIVE ME MONEY.  That was a great example of how this works.

OK, so I thought what if I deliberately give away some of the coins I am collecting?

What if I anonymously drop a few coins each day wherever I happen to be?

What do you think will happen when someone finds the coins?

Will they bring a smile to a child’s face?

Will they be a sign of prosperity to someone?

Will they be just what someone needs in that moment?

If you’re feeling very generous, you could drop a whole DIME… or a QUARTER!

How would that feel?

Do you think you and I could make a difference in the world by dropping a few coins each day?

I am talking about carrying coins with you in your pocket, in your purse, in your car, etc. and simply dropping a couple of coins on the ground when you step out of your car.. or as you are walking down the street or in a department store or a restaurant

Who do you think might find those?

How about leaving a few coins on the counter the next time you make a purchase?

Or.. oh, I love this one… leave a few coins on the gas pump the next time you get gas?

Do you think you and I together could make a difference in the world by dropping a few coins each day?

I do!

You don’t need to even tell us.

JUST DO IT.

And watch what happens… watch that money multiply and come back to you in miraculous ways… miraculous and unexpected ways.

The more Grateful I am, the more I receive to be grateful FOR.

I sat outside our new log home every day this week watching the builders construct the log walls and set the frames for the windows and secure the porch and deck flooring… and tears rolled down my face… tears of Gratitude.

It seems the more Grateful I AM, the more Gratitude I FEEL, and the more Gratitude I feel, the more Gratitude I EXPRESS, and the more Gratitude I express, the more I attract to be Grateful FOR.

It’s a big circle. A wonderful big circle.

I am asked so many times how to overcome obstacles in life and how to create what you reall want in your life.

The answer is Gratitude.

When we express Gratitude for what we already HAVE, we WILL begin to attract more of what we WANT.

The easiest way to do that is STOP thinking, saying and expressing ANYthing you do NOT want.

Speak and think ONLY of what you DO want.

Will that take practice?  Absolutely.

when you find yourself about to say to someone how you don’t have any money or you need this or that or you find yourself about to complain about something…

S T O P

Learn to catch yourself and STOP before you complain or express anything you don’t want.

Speak only of what you DO want.

Yes, it will take practice … and practice makes perfect.

You can always find something in your immediately experience for which you are grateful.

Perhaps you can express Gratitude for something as simple as running water and electricity.  There are many parts of the world where the people there would be VERY grateful for water and electricity.

Express Gratitude for the people in your life.

If you find yourself in a funk and you just cannot think of one thing to be grateful for, just say, “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Keep saying “Thank you” until you feel better.  You will find your mood will change and you will feel a shift in how you are feeling.

Do it.  I Know YOU CAN DO IT.

I am truly giddy with Joy as I write to you this morning and I am so happy to share a personal update with you.

Ten years ago I met Dennis online and within 6 months I had moved from North Carolina to Michigan to marry him.  We always said we would eventually move back to North Carolina and we trusted God and the Universe to line it up for us.

We moved from Michigan to North Carolina two weeks ago and we are having the greatest time settling into our new temporary home – our RV at a small private campground right beside the river – while we wait for our new custom log home to be built here in the North Carolina mountains. The river is wide and shallow and we can walk in it.  Tubers float down the river effortlessly like it is their own private “lazy river” like you see at hotels. 

Cranes and blue herrins stand in the water with their long legs and catch the fish as they swim by.  Many varieties of birds entertain us throughout the day and serenade us in the mornings as the cows and horses provide an example of being in the “now” in the field on the other side of the river. At the river we find tadpoles and mussels and minnows and tiny little snails in black spiral shaped shells attached to the rocks.  There are  MILLIONS of tiny little toads or frogs – only one half inch long.  They are jumping everywhere!

Our camping neighbors are all semi-permanent and so friendly and helpful and we feel very safe here. We have created a new website at Shutterfly for the purpose of sharing pictures to show our new land and the progress of the new house as well as where we are living now by the river.

Our log home is scheduled to be completed around the end of this year and I know it will be completed in perfect timing. I am grateful for every moment of every day as we settle into our new relaxing lifestyle here by the river and anticipate the completion of our new log home.

Welcome to The Gift – a simple pattern that is both ancient as well as modern, with a thousand and one uses, that can make the world a different place for you, for the people you love, for the people you don’t love, and for those who you haven’t even met yet.

It may be that the act of giving The Gift can make changes at a far wider level too; as more and more minds become involved in this wonderful process, we might well have the opportunity to permanently influence matters on a profound plane of reality.

Having worked professionally with Energy Therapies for many years, I am very aware that we receive far more information and insight about the nature of reality around us than we could consciously ever understand, or evaluate, or even respond to.

When you are engaged with another in any kind of healing relationship, and this could be both as a professional therapist or just listening to a friend who is in trouble and you are trying to help them somehow, both you and I have the power to help in a most profound way – if only we knew how to transfer our invisible and unspoken understandings into action in some way.

The Gift is the bridge over which your deep and unspoken understanding and your knowing about how to help can travel to the other person. It is easy to give, any human alive can do this – children are especially good at it – and you will know that a change has occurred when you have given The Gift.

What exactly happens when you give The Gift is a mystery. It has been suggested that you could be making a healing adjustment to the other’s energy system, or maybe that you adjust the flow of the meridians through their bodies, or perhaps align a chakra or two in just the right way. I’m not sure what happens, only that something happens, that it feels wonderful and right, and that it creates positive change both for the giver and for the receiver.

I invite you to try it for yourself. It’s a simple thing yet endlessly applicable in its very simplicity and profoundly useful and helpful in many situations.

Abundance Is a Positive Feeling

There is so much abundance in this world. All you have to do is tweak your thinking just a bit to see it. To be financially abundant one must see the abundance all around us. You may want to get in the habit of looking at everything through abundant eyes.

Abundance is a result of positive thinking and gratitude.

I was out the door on a December holiday evening at 6:00 PM. I had planned on doing some writing but my son called. He wanted to celebrate because he just signed 2 new contracts that will pay him a good amount of money. I was going to meet him for dinner with my husband to share in his excitement and gratitude. 

Many people in San Antonio, Texas complain about the traffic.

During holiday time the traffic is even heavier and at 6:00 PM for sure one runs into more traffic than any other part of the day. As I drove along I saw opportunity. There was bumper to bumper traffic all over the place. What kind of opportunity was that? That was financial opportunity.

Next time you are stuck in traffic think of all those cars and people. Think of how many products those cars and people consume every day. I bet that if you live somewhere where there are enough cars to create traffic jams then you live somewhere where there is great financial opportunity. Those people in those cars consume all sorts of products. If it wasn’t for those people, you may not have a job or a business and those people service you in their jobs.

That person 5 cars down from you may have been the one who helped you on the telephone the other day. The other person in the lane beside you may have helped you in the grocery store. The one behind you may work for your utility company. I bet every one of them believes that they did the best possible job they could do for you.

Don’t you believe that you do the best possible job you can do?

Many of those people in those cars, possibly all of them, are customers of yours or potential customers. Send them gratitude and positive thoughts of love. 

I see that heavy traffic and all those cars as symbols of all the abundance that will come my way if I allow it. All those people will buy my products and services.

This is also an opportunity to listen to beautiful music and motivational MP3’s. A book or a magazine can be read in a traffic jam. This is a time to count all the wonderful things you are grateful for car by car.

The funny thing here is, once you get good at this gratitude and love thing and you get in the habit of it, the traffic won’t be a problem at all. For me it was flowing so very smoothly. I didn’t have to step on my breaks on the highway a single time. It was smooth sailing all the way to the restaurant. I smiled as I recalled my husband telling me I’d better leave soon because it will take me an hour to get there in the traffic. I knew there would be no traffic for me because I had spent the whole day in joyful gratitude. This is what the habit of gratitude and the positive feeling of abundance can do for you.

Life is abundant with so many happy events. Once you get in the habit of looking at potential frustrating situations with a gratitude attitude your grateful feelings and finances and happiness will consistently flow your way. Notice I said flow your way, not, end with you. We will talk about that sometime. Anyway, it will feel as if the world revolves around you, because it does.

The world does anything and everything you ask it to. To get only the positive all you have to do is positively allow it.

Here’s to you enjoying a most abundant day and week and 2008 starting right now!

Here’s a quick reminder to write your Abundance Check as instructed below.  The new moon is almost here – tomorrow July 3.

Abundance Check Ritual in the New Moon

This ritual has been handed down through so many people that its origin has become unknown.

What are Abundance Checks?

Abundance checks are a tool we can use to create more abundance in our lives. They are written within 24 hours after a New Moon.

Surprisingly, you really don’t even need to believe that the check will work when you write it. You will however be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.

There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be followed. If you do not have a checking account you can draw a check on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way – the results will be the same, more abundance for you.

Here’s how to do them:

1.) Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a check from your check book. Where it says “Pay to,” write your name.

2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write “Paid in full.”

3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write “Paid in full.” [I find it works better if you don't add the squiggly line.]

4.) Sign the check: “The Law of Abundance”

Do not put a date on the check. Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check. Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there.

Many people are skeptical about trying this until they do it. After the first time they realize the power of these checks and do them routinely every month! Try it yourself and see!

If you enjoy this ritual, do it for the next three New Moons and see what happens.
