Welcome to the February 2008 issue of Spiritual Entrepreneur Today.

February is a mixed bag of emotions for me.  Of course Valentine’s Day is a joyful time as I am married to the most wonderful man on the planet.

February 22 is the anniversary of the passing of my son Brian Michael five years ago.  I call it his Angel Date and it’s always a little tough to get through, even though I don’t believe in death anymore.  I believe that we are all eternal souls, just having a short visit here on earth to learn something or have a particular experience.

My son’s passing has helped me understand that we really are just here on earth starring as actors in a great big play… and when our part in the play is over we walk off the stage and go home. 

My son’s part in the play was over and he has gone home.  That gets me through the days as I continue to play my roles in this earthly play.

A few weeks ago I received a phone call to inform me that my first husband had also passed over.  My first thought was that now he and Brian are together.  It was a mixed bag of emotions for me, and my wonderful husband Dennis reminded me that it was ok for me to be said because I spent 15 years with my son’s father.

UPDATE ON MOUNTAIN HOME:  We are finalizing our floor plans for the log home we are building in the North Carolina mountains this year and it is very exciting that our custom builder will be breaking ground very soon.  We have decided on an open floor plan with a lot of porches on the outside and we want to keep the land outside as natural as possible.  We will be moving to North Carolina around the middle of the year – and it should be very interesting because our home will be finished near the END of the year. Looks like we will be doing some long term RV camping while the house is being finished.  Exciting and challenging – and all good!
