HOW DO I KNOW WHAT VIBRATIONS I AM SENDING OUT?

I often get this question. If you have learned about The Law of Attraction, you know that in every single moment you are sending out vibrations. Like now, and now…. and now! (as per Michael Oliver, author of “Law of Attraction” and an excellent speaker on this topic) And these vibrations basically attract more of the same to your life. So if you vibrate on a positive, high level, you will attract more positive things to your reality.

“Like attracts like”.

So then how DO you know which vibrations you are sending out?

In “The Secret” you may have learned about the term “emotional guidance system”. When I saw this explained for the first time, it was such an “a-ha” moment for me. Basically, your emotions tell you what you vibrate! If you feel jealous, angry, frustrated, resentful or any other negative emotion, you are sending out negative (low) vibrations and therefore attracting more of that. If you feel happy, grateful, excited, loving or any other positive emotion, you attract more positive things into your life. Pretty easy really, right?

The exciting thing is, that YOU are in control. At any given time, YOU get to choose how you feel, and therefore what you attract. If you feel negative, or down, take action and endeavor to feel better by listening to nice music, going for a walk, practicing gratitude etc.

My suggestion for this week is to really become aware of your emotions and make a conscious effort to adjust them where necessary.This will truly help you to create the life you wish for!

A Splash of Inspiration

You are a fantastic person and a true winner!

There you go! I think it is a shame we don’t hear this more often! You ARE a great person, did you know that? Are you aware of the magnificence of YOU? So often we criticize ourselves and tell ourselves things like “I am not good enough”, “I can’t do that” or “I am just not that kind of person”. While we are actually doing a lot of things really well and are working on getting better in the areas we could improve on. The fact that you are reading this email right now is the proof of that . So why are we so hard on ourselves?

I think it is time to give ourselves a bit of a break. Let’s look at the powerful person we actually are and grow from a space of appreciation for ourselves rather than from dis-empowering self criticism. By acknowledging our personal power and feeling good and accepting about ourselves, we act from an empowering space and will therefore create many more good things in our lives and grow as a result.

So this week, I have a fun challenge for you: (it may feel weird in the beginning, but hey just go for it .. ) every time you see yourself in a mirror, say to yourself in a powerful and excited voice…

I am a winner and I am doing great! Everyday, in every way I get better and better. I love myself!

Or any other sentence that makes you feel empowered. Feel and act from that view point of “I am a winner” and I know your week will be truly amazing!

As you begin your visualization, imagine yourself waking in the morning… and decide what would be your perfect day. Repeat this Affirmation…

Be sure to SMILE as you begin to describe your circumstances AS IF they are as you desire them to be…

How do you FEEL?
Where are you?
What do you see around you?
Who is there with you?
What are you doing?
How do you FEEL?

You get the idea. Yes, this is pretending. It’s “fake it ’til you make it.”

I promise… if you begin to visualize the success you desire AS IF you have already achieved it every day, you will see changes in your life that seem to occur as if by magic.

The more specific you can be, the better.

Have you ever noticed that little voice in your mind? You know; the voice that right now is saying “what little voice?”… You probably know what I am talking about. Every one of us has some kind of internal dialog going on most of the day. Mine drives me nuts sometimes! To keep your thoughts and feelings positive it is very important to pro actively notice this voice and to keep track of what it is saying. In my view, there actually are two little voices… one positive and one negative. The positive one is the one that is supportive of all your ideas, beliefs in what you do and always expects the good in other people. The negative one is the whiner who always tries to put you and the rest of the world down, has no belief in what is possible and makes you feel doubtful and frustrated.

The positive voice is the one that creates the positive feelings and therefore will help you to attract the dreams and goals you have set for yourself by virtue of the Law of Attraction. It will help you to get ahead in life. The negative one creates negative feelings of jealousy, fear or frustration and will therefore sabotage your efforts to try and create the life of your dreams. It will only create more negativity in your life.

Key is: give more attention to the positive voice than to the negative one. In fact, try to give as little acknowledgment as possible to the negative voice. I suggest having a bit of fun with this. In your mind, create a mental image of your positive voice and your negative voice. Your positive voice could be represented by a fun little cheerleader, jumping around all happy and excited on your left shoulder. The negative voice could be a grumpy little old man, sitting cross armed on your shoulder with an angry little face. Now every time you hear yourself saying something negative to yourself or others, notice the little old grumpy dumpy sitting on your shoulder… That was him talking. On the other side is the fun cheerleader: what would she say? Would that be more constructive to say in this situation?

Just give it a try… by being and talking more positive to yourself and others, you will be able to apply the teachings of the Law of Attractions a lot more effective. Talking and speaking positive will attract more positive empowering things to you! If you are serious about attracting your dreams and goals in life, listen to your cheerleader and let the grumpy one crumble away…!
