Say thank you to truckers
November 3rd, 2008· Filed Under: affirmations · gratitude
We are currently in Michigan for my step-daughter’s wedding this coming weekend. We drove up with our RV and we’re staying at a private campground while we are visiting.
On the way up from North Carolina, it’s all highway and there are SO many trucks!
Most of my life I have been afraid of big trucks on the highway and have really wished they would all just disappear!
For some reason, on this trip I had a great respect for the trucks and especially the truck drivers.
Where would we be without trucks? We would not have food in our grocery stores or clothes in the mall stores or even gasoline to put in our vehicles.
We would be lost without trucks and the wonderful people who drive them day after day for thousands of miles.
So I INVITE you to join me in saying thank you to a trucker the next time you are out and about. Let them know that you appreciate the hours they spend on the road to deliver goods to our home towns so we can walk into a store and choose literally anything we want from all over the world.
Have you thought about that lately?
Please say THANK YOU to a trucker today!
Many blessings.
